Haokai Microelectronics (Shanghai) Corporation provides phase-locked loop (PLL) IP, design service, and chip products for semiconductor design houses, manufacturers, and system OEMs.
     Haokai Microelectronics (Shanghai) Corporation was founded at Shanghai in May 2005. The company’s founders Cangsang Zhao and Feng Wang both obtained Ph.D. degrees in USA. They spent many years in Intel USA working on analog and mixed-signal circuit design. They accumulated a lot of design and manufacturing experience on phase-locked loop (PLL) circuits. They possess the world-leading knowledge and understanding in the clocking and timing circuit area.
     On its first design project, Haokai successfully developed a 3.5 GHz PLL and a 300 MHz HSTL-IO on SMIC 0.13 um CMOS process, and demonstrated the highest speed PLL developed in China.
     In its 3.5 years of growth period, Haokai developed new circuit technologies that led to several series of PLL IP products. These PLLs are silicon proven on a variety of SMIC and Chartered’s CMOS processes. They have very wide input and output frequency range, which covers a wide range of applications. They also have world leading jitter performance (See the PLL IP list for details). In addition, these PLLs are designed to be insensitive to process, voltage, and temperature variations, which is an important feature for integrating them into digital FPGA/SOC chips.
Haokai’s mission is to be a leading provider for phase-locked loop (PLL) IP, design service, and chip products to semiconductor design houses, manufacturers, and system OEMs. Haokai is currently becoming a leading player in PLL IP and design service area in China.
